| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Turnover |
| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |

| At the balance sheet date COGS Agency Limited owed the company £20,537 (2023: £11,150) included within amounts owed by group undertakings due within one year. COGS Agency Limited is a subsidiary of Studio 200 Group Limited. COGS Agency Limited went in voluntary liquidation on 30th May 2025. |
| During the period, COGS+ Limited made sales amounting to £174,689 (2023: £183,033) to COGS Agency Limited. |
| During the period, COGS+ Limited made purchases amounting to £4,496 (2023: £1,015) from COGS Agency Limited. |
| During the period, Studio 200 Group Limited made sales amounting to £6,000 (2023: £Nil) to COGS+ Limited, a company in which L Morgan is the director. COGS+ Limited is a subsidiary of Studio 200 Group Limited. |

The continuation of the Company's activities is dependent on the support of its director and group. The financial statements are therefore drawn up under the historical cost convention and on a going concern. |
