Through its collaboration with young performers the organisation has continued to provide Care and Nursing Homes with access to low-cost high-quality activities designed for those living with dementia and living in care settings. Having fully consolidated our position in our existing hubs through 2023, including a managed expansion in the South West and North West of the country, 2024 saw our continued targeted expansion moving into the North East of England, including York, Newcastle, and Sunderland. In 2024 Mini Concerts were able to provide another record breaking 2500 shows to Care and Nursing Homes, comprising an estimated audience of over 75,000 Care and Nursing Home residents. We continued our schedule of public awareness events, demonstrating to the general public the amazing work that our young performers are doing for those living with dementia. The largest of these events was a solely hosted festival, with an audience of around 5,000 people. We continued to provide additional training, support, and guidance to our ever growing young performers. Helping them develop shows that they can take on as their own independent business projects. Many of our young performers have been successful in obtain full time professional contracts in both Cruise and Theatre work, both in the UK and abroad. Mini Concerts C.I.C. is now widely recognised as the country's leading provider of specialist musical activities for those living in Care and Nursing Homes, and for groups supporting those living with dementia in. In 2025 Mini Concerts C.I.C. are aiming to make its services available to those living in Scotland for the first time, as well as making shows more accessible to those living in more remote settings.
To maintain the quality of the services we deliver Mini Concerts C.I.C. have continued to engage with the Care and Nursing Homes through feedback forms, telephone interviews, and site visits. As in previous years, these consultations have not only allowed us to ensure that our service users are receiving the very best services that we can offer, but are also helping us to identify ways in which we can improve our offering in the future. The consultations that took place in 2024 have led to the introduction of a new range of formats for the delivery of our shows, and have also informed us to make changes to our administration procedures. Helping us to work more effectively with those who run the Care Homes and Nursing Homes we perform in. Mini Concerts C.I.C. will continue with these consultations during 2025, looking for new and innovative ways to deliver support to Care and Nursing Homes, and those living with dementia.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £3401.00. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remunerations of directors’ loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
