The CIC has been developed to provide residential support housing activities for learning difficulties, mental, health, and substance abuse service users. The company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Offering vulnerable people, the opportunity to live independently in the community and the chance to hold their own tenancy. Giving vulnerable people the choice, control and enfranchisement that come from holding one’s own tenancy.
During the period of the service Topline has been consulting with stakeholders such as local Landlords and communities regarding the properties which have been leased to ensure that the tenancy agreements are being adhered to, and properties are satisfactory for the individuals who reside there. When the service is active, stakeholders will be consulted by the following Spot checks of the properties will take place on a weekly basis to discuss any concerns/ challenges with the service users, regarding the property, repairs/conditions, other residents. Monthly or quarterly meetings are held with the referrers and partner agencies to ensure that the best possible care is being delivered. Service users have the opportunity to feedback on a daily basis about their wishes and feelings relating to the care, home environment and views about staff.
