The Green Skills Library teaches sustainable “green” skills to the community for free, using primarily donated and/or waste material to keep costs low and to reduce our carbon footprint. Our primary aim is to create a culture of inclusivity and nurture within our hub, and wherever we carry out our activities. We have seen a marked decrease in anxiety and improvement in the mental wellbeing of those who attend activities with us
We regularly ask our stakeholders for feedback - in fact, after every session they attend - what we could do better or differently, or what new skill they might like to learn, so that they might like to incorporate it into our activities. Similarly, we get feedback from our staff as to how we can work in such a way that makes the work environment better for them
