Black footballers partnership provides a voice and support to black footballers in the field of diversity and inclusion in football. BFP registered in December 2021. During the financial year 2023-2024, BFP's activities included: - commissioned academic reports to gather data highlighting representation in football, which led to a change in the way diversity and inclusion in football is highlighted. - held rountables with footballers, academic and administrators about the use of data analytics in sport -carried out face to face meetings with footballers, politician and many others to seek solutions to the lack of black representation in football -contributed to select committee hearings -Utilised traditional and social media to build support around the message for charge
Black footballers partnerships stakeholders are primarily former professional footballers. beyond this group, we engaged with football authorities, civil society, journalist and politicians to share our data to influence diversity and inclusion in football
