Principal activities of the company

The company provides benefit to the LGBTQ+ community of Sandbach and the surrounding areas and its allies, by raising awareness and education of the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender+ (LGBTQ+) people; by staging an annual LGBTQ+ festival and smaller events throughout the area and establishing support networks in the area for LGBTQ+ people.

Company activities and impact

The company provides benefit to the LGBTQ+ community of Sandbach and the surrounding areas and its allies, by raising awareness and education of the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender+ (LGBTQ+) people; by staging an annual LGBTQ+ festival and smaller events throughout the area and establishing support networks in the area for LGBTQ+ people. The third annual Pride event was held in the 2024 financial year, attracting a larger audience. We continued to hold other events, including a fundraising burlesque show.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are members of the local LGBTQ+ community, their allies, local businesses and the town council, amongst others. We consult with stakeholders through social media and our events, including a post event feedback form. The valuable feedback is used to help us improve our events and ensure we are best supporting the local LGBTQ+ community.
