| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Turnover |
| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
| Turnover received consists of revenue earned from the rendering of residential property management services. The company receives a mark-up on direct costs and services rendered, in addition to a fixed management fee in relation to the residential property under a Property Management Agreement. |
| Trade and other debtors |
| Short term debtors consist of amounts owed to the company in respect of outstanding invoices and unpaid share capital. |
| Prepayments are measured at transaction price (which is usually the invoice price) and pro-rated. |
| Trade and other creditors |
| Short term creditors consist of trade creditors and accrued expenses and both of these amounts are measured at transaction price. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises of current tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |
| Going concern |
| The directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The company therefore continues to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing its financial statements. |
