GEWE Global Network CIC focused its activities on supporting global majority women through targeted empowerment programs. Our primary mission was to support, inspire, and equip these women with necessary resources to advance their journey towards leadership, political engagement, and civic decision-making. During the financial year, we provided direct support through networking events, panel discussions, and strategic partnerships designed to enable women to ascend to more influential positions. These activities specifically targeted school leavers, university students, graduates, women seeking skills enhancement, and those from disadvantaged communities. We collaborated with key stakeholders including London councillors, universities, community leaders, subject matter experts, and prominent organizations to deliver comprehensive support programs. How Activities Have Benefited the Community GEWE Global Network CIC has benefited the community by empowering young women from the global majority and promoting leadership in health, politics, and STEM fields to create a more inclusive society and drive meaningful social change. Our efforts have contributed to developing confident, skilled, and influential women who are better equipped to participate in civic decision-making pro-cesses. The women supported through our programs now serve as role models within their communities, creating a positive ripple effect that extends beyond individual beneficiaries. This initiative has actively contributed to dismantling structural inequalities that often render global majority women 'invisible' in leadership spaces, thereby promoting greater diversity and representation in decision-making positions across various sectors. Through our collaborative approach with diverse stakeholders, we have created sustainable pathways for women's advancement while building stronger, more inclusive communities that benefit from in-creased female leadership and participation in civic life.
