Foyle Family Justice Centre C.I.C. was incorporated in May 2021 and this CIC 34 Report covers the company’s third period of account which ended on 30th September 2024. The 2023 year saw the company move into the Family Justice Centre building in Derry at the start of 2023, and it started to manage this building and rent out and lease some of the office space to partner agencies, all of whom work to increase access and improve the pathway to joined-up holistic support services for all victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, all of which continued the year ended 30th September 2024. The company will continue and expand their operations during the year ended 30th September 2025, which will be the second full financial year of operations in its new purpose-built centre.
The company’s stakeholders are residents of Derry City and the surrounding area who are families affected by domestic violence and related issues. The directors of the company are local people who have developed a unique trauma-informed interagency response service in a purpose-built centre, designed to increase access and improve the pathway to joined-up holistic support services for all victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
