WhittyGordon Projects C.I.C. provide benefit to members of all ages, gender and backgrounds by providing access to video, media and contemporary arts-based training and workshops to enhance life, technical, literacy, communication and employability skills. The work has benefited the community because we have given them access to free media training, as well as life skills, professional skills, numeracy and literacy training that would not normally be available to them. We have given isolated and vulnerable people the option to have their voices and opinions heard through the medium of film. We have also given lots of adults and young beneficiaries free advice on how they can further develop their skills and employment opportunities and some of the beneficiaries have worked with us on a voluntary basis and went on to further training and employment as a result of our projects. We are currently working on a documentary called Edge of Invisibility which aims to give voice to marginalised over 50's women in the UK.
