    Basis of measurement and preparation

    Basis of preparation The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets. Presentation currency The accounts are presented in £ sterling.

Company activities and impact

During 2024, Take the Space CIC delivered the Eastbourne Alive programme, working with local artists and community groups in Eastbourne and Sussex. Activities included artist-led workshops, performances, and cultural events forming part of the Turner Prize wraparound. Delivery partners included artists from Eastbourne and Sussex. All grant income was applied directly to community- facing projects, supporting access to creativity and cultural participation. During this time Take the Space CIC worked with a range of community groups and local partners.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation took place through ongoing evaluation processes (including external evaluation), including surveys, interviews, and feedback gathered during project delivery. This informed programme design and ensured that activities responded to the needs of artists and community participants.
