To provide support and opportunities to people suffering from poor mental health and discrimination in the community. This will be provided through a new community centre, which will have different areas including a charity shop, cafe and music and therapy room. The year under review has seen further development in the project, with the Happy bus adaption completed and the bus now actively travelling to locations to provide mental and wellbeing support services.
External stakeholders have been consulted throughout the project so far, with liaison with local councils as well as local residents undertaken to take on board feedback and ascertain suitable locations for the bus to be situated and provide support sessions.
