Ms Independent Global is a careers community company that helps young women in schools, colleges and university to gain the skills and information needed to be successful in the career world. This period was another growth period, the affects of covid were still tangible, thorough out workshop activity in schools increased, process was slower than we had hoped. This pushed us to be more creative with how we advertised and to seek more help and guidance from other professionals. Marketing and sales support: We invested in rebranding the organisation, we invested in a new website with the help social enterprise website speciallits to help us attract my clients. We invested in marketing experts to help develop and execute new marketing strategies. Networking events: We attending numerous career and educational networking events in person, to learn more about the changes in education and to also make our presence know within the sector. We have worked with two universities and and two new schools Workshops and programmes: We offered discounted workshops and programmes to large youth focused organisations The Girls Network to interacting with just over 500 young women. We ran a few of our own online workshops with the funding we obtain for free impacting anothe 200 young women. We ran programmes a two universities, 4 schools which helped us to impact 500 more young women.
After the workshops and programmes we attended we conduct survey asking for feedback from young women themselves, educators and business who could be potential funders. Feedback from young women: 100% of the 350 young women that attend a workshop or a programme want us to come back to their school, college or universities. 97% expressed this it the type of education that they would like to learn on a regular basis in school. Feedback from Educators: 100% of the schools and uni’s want us to come back In person. We will be doing more to maintain those those paid relationships and to grow into more education spaces . Business professional: 100% companies said that they would contribute to fund our programmes long term, if we help them with recruiting diverse talent into their company. Therefore, we are now in the process of piloting a recruitment programme for companies
