During the financial year, BSides Cheltenham delivered a community-driven cybersecurity conference attended by over 400 people. More than 75% of tickets were provided free of charge, ensuring accessibility for students, early-career professionals, and members of the wider community. The event created a platform for knowledge-sharing, professional development, and networking, bringing together local and national experts to share insights on current security challenges. By removing financial barriers and fostering an inclusive environment, the conference supported skills development, encouraged collaboration across the regional cyber sector, and strengthened Cheltenham’s position as a hub for innovation and security expertise.
