Company activities and impact

Our aim is to reduce violence in our homes and communities through our unique training packages. We do not encourage combat but teach breakaway and disengagement techniques. This in addition to teaching about the Law, human behaviour, communication and reporting techniques. At Blossom, we don’t do self-defence or empowerment courses like anyone else. Instead, we help our participant on their self-esteem journey, sharing why we all need to develop our confidence, and acknowledging that life isn’t always as perfect as we’d like it to be.

Consultation with stakeholders

Blossom is a small CIC with three directors, our newest Director is our Nin-Exec Rebecca Hopwood. We take advise from a small team of advisors and as part of our annual training we reference guidance issued by Government, NHS and Police Commissioners reports. Other than advisory, there has been no consultation.

Directors' remuneration

The amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £10,078 paid to Madeleine France.
