Motivational Mindset Movement CIC offers support to families and individuals to promote healthy relationships and build positive communication as part of the family unit. During this financial year ‘MMM’ CIC have provided 9 family engagement workshops, across England and Wales, to a total of 16 families, consisting of 21 adults and 20 children aged between 8 years and 13 years old. These workshops demonstrated and facilitated strategies, techniques and physical activities for emotional regulation and positive communication to aid both physical and emotional wellbeing. Activities have included “knowing me knowing you’ insight in to how each family member have their own values, beliefs and lived experiences including those who have ACE’s Adverse Childhood Experiences, during these session’s individuals gained knowledge into understanding others' emotions and what life looks like from their perspective. Families have collaborated and created family shields of memories and important acceptable behaviours; these will be displayed as a visual reminder when entering their home. Other activities have included trust and accountability team bounding sessions to help eliminate fear and rejection. We have also facilitated walks in nature, woodland, beaches, waterfalls and caves to bring some calm to the chaos of everyday life, plus relaxation sessions incorporating EFT, emotional freedom techniques, Mindfulness, Forrest bathing, Sound Therapy and a trip to the local holiday park. MMM consults with the local community and research’s what is currently happening and what local services offer by means of physical and emotional support for families. Stakeholders include the families we work with and other families' views, needs and expectations when faced with parenting challenges and child development stages. Funding from The CO-OP community fund has enabled MMM to deliver the above workshops this year
The company’s stakeholders are families who use our ongoing services and others who help us to provide our services. We engage stakeholders in consultation via surveys and polls, via social media groups and face to face conversations and feedback forms. We use data to shape our offer and future programs.
