The company has a voluntary community Facebook group called walking for well-being Wolverhampton. In the last 12 months 30 walkers have taken part in two weekly walks. As well as the walks there has also been social activities planned with the group which included an afternoon tea for 15 people, a coach trip to wales for 22 people and also a weekly coffee morning. The feedback from the group is improved fitness, improved mental health, reduced isolation, improved social networks and a connection with people of different ages and sexes. It has also improved confidence in trying new activities and having someone to try them with. Christmas 2024 saw another projects gifts of kindness Wolverhampton connect with local schools and businesses to collect over 800 gifts for residents in care homes in Wolverhampton. Over 100 residents across 10 different homes received gifts. Volunteers also visited the homes connecting with the residents and care staff. This has made elderly residents feel thought about, gifted essentials including toiletries, socks hair accessories. And made them feel connected to the wider community. There have been no charges to anyone taking part in any of these services and have been done purely with volunteers.
