Long Marston Village Hall Community Hub CIC is the predominant social hub within the community of Long Marston. The sole Shareholder for the CIC is Long Marston CIO (No1191848) and the purpose, above and beyond providing social recreational facility for the community, is to generate income through profit which is transferred directly to the Charity. This is the main income that the Charity relies upon to invest in charitable objects. The CIC continues to provide physical and social impact for the community, bringing members together from all demographics.
Long Marston Village Hall Community Hub CIC relies on its existence and survival through stakeholder engagement, who are the local community and therefore this is conducted daily (when the facilities are open). Although no formal consultation has been conducted by the CIC - the Charity has conducted several consultation periods with the villagers and individuals from the area of benefit (who are the same stakeholder's audience) to identify what the Charity could do more of the support the community. Further consultation will be conducted over the next year in parity with the Charity
