Company activities and impact

During the reporting period, The Princess May Recreation CIC has continued to provide and enhance inclusive recreational and wellbeing opportunities for the local community in partnership with the Penzance Town Coucil. Our core activities have included maintaining and improving access to outdoor space, supporting local events that benefit residents of all ages. This year, we focused on expanding community engagement through partnerships with local schools, sports clubs, and wellbeing providers. We delivered seasonal activities, volunteer days, and environmentally-focused improvements to the recreation ground, all designed to promote physical activity, social connection, and environmental awareness. The organisation remains committed to its mission of creating a welcoming, safe, and sustainable space for the public, prioritising access, inclusion, and community ownership.
