During the year, the CIC has been able to establish a small base, which hopefully it can use to grow going forwards. A number of grant applications were made, of which some were successful, meaning the CIC has been able to run programmes at 2 different venues. The CIC benefits the community, because those from the local community who participate in a programme will :- gain inclusive access to sport (running) overcoming current exclusions, connect with the community to alleviate isolation and join in group activity, improv-ing their emotional and mental wellbeing, improve their emotional, mental and physical health leading to the adoption of new healthy living behaviours, prevent increased risk of disease associated with sedentary behaviour, develop long-lasting friendships for ongoing health benefits & come together with their families and friends to exercise, undergo personal development e.g. some participants will train to become fitness coaches which is a pathway to employment,
No consultation with stakeholders
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
