| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Turnover |
| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
| Customer account balances represent amounts due to players, which are available for withdrawal (as set out in NextGen Plays' terms and conditions). The Company's shareholders have provided a guarantee to ensure that all customer account balances are fully covered. In the event that the Company is unable to meet these obligations from its own resources, the shareholders have committed to funding any shortfall to ensure full payout to customers. This guarantee does not constitute a formal legal obligation but reflects the shareholders' commitment to the ongoing operation and financial stability of the platform |
| Intangible assets |
| Intangible assets are categorised as development costs which are internally generated. Development costs are capitalised when it is able to demonstrate all of the following: technical feasibility of completing the development so the intangible asset will be available for use or sale, its intention to complete the development and to use or sell the intangible asset, its ability to use to sell the intangible asset, how the intangible asset will generate probable future economic benefits, the availability of adequate technical, financial and other resources to complete the development and to use or sell the intangible asset and its ability to measure reliably the expenditure attributable to the intangible asset during its development. After initial recognition, intangible assets are measured at cost less any accumulated amortisation and any accumulated impairment losses. |

| Debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate and receivable or payable within one year are recorded at transaction price. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account in other administrative expenses. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
| Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. |
| Going concern |
| The directors acknowledge the net liabilities position and have confirmed they will continue to support the company so it is able to fulfil its obligations as they fall due. Therefore, the directors believe that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for a period of at least 12 months from the date of the approval of these financial statements. The directors have concluded that the going concern basis of preparation of these financial statements remains appropriate. |
