In the last year Little Foresters has continued to run pre school Forest school sessions, increasing to 2 sessions a week. We also continued with our home school group which met twice a month. We also worked with young people who have additional needs in the school holiday and for weekend sessions through the company Umbrella. All the families have accessed a really beautiful green space (Long Eaton Community Garden and have had opportunities such as gardening, nature crafts, mud kitchen play, campfire cooking and have learnt about nature and our environment with experiential learning. Many friendships have been made in these groups also. We ran a total of 97 pre school, holiday, home school, and gardening stay and play sessions.
No consultation with stakeholders
Louise Heath (director and Little Foresters Forest school practitioner) received a wage of £6,280.
