CONGERSTONE KICKSTART CIC

Directors' report period ended 31 March 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2025

Principal activities of the company

The Directors of Congerstone Kickstart CIC can report that we raised funds of £10000 through charitable donations from the Dixie Educational Foundation towards Flood Lighting for the MUGA. The facility to hire the MUGA and community buildings were promoted locally. This resulted in a booking from Coach Unlimited for bookings over the summer holidays for a holiday club. Also a second booking for a easter camp for 2 days during the easter holidays run by local parents. Other organisations expressed interest but required flood lighting for autumn/winter bookings. Therefore the Directors started applying for funding/donations towards Flood Lighting for the Muga

Company activities and impact

On the Congerstone Primary School site there is a MUGA that was funded by local fundraising for use by the primary school children for physical activities. Congerstone Kickstart CIC was founded to fund a community building along with toilets sited in front of the MUGA with secure and separate access from the school. This would then enable the local community to book and use this space outside of school hours, holidays and weekends. Kickstart have fundraised and purchased the buildings and secure access along with a website booking system.
