Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

OPOP was established to offer affordable dining to the community and jobs that were fairly paid and offered a good life balance. The idea was to build the blueprint for how restaurants could be run for the good of all stakeholders, not solely for the benefit of shareholders. Having launched a 'test-and-learn' site in 2021, we ceased operation in March 2022. Work has continued into developing the model, seeking to extend the stakeholder network and develop a broader understanding of how the original objectives can be met.
