Having made good progress with the transfer of use of the community centre, Firs and Bromford Community Development Trust have begun to plan and fundraise for community activities, and have continued to build existing relationships with key members of the community. The CIC was also able to facilitate and run a number of smaller community engagement events within the year, which were well-received.
The CIC continues to regularly meet with its stakeholders, including both key individuals and organisations within the community and relevant external bodies and funders. In consultation with these stakeholders, the CIC has developed future plans for events and activities centred around the community centre, and is also in the process of working out the funding to support these.
