Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders of Tiny Travels Anti-Racism Education CIC include: Children who participate in our sessions. Parents, caregivers, and families who support their children’s participation. Nurseries, schools, and community organisations where we deliver our sessions and workshops. Educators and staff who receive anti-racism training. Local communities that benefit from our initiatives aimed at promoting inclusivity and cultural understanding. Stakeholder Consultation: We actively consulted with stakeholders during the financial year through the following methods: 1. Children and Families: Informal feedback was gathered during and after sessions to understand the children’s engagement and the families’ experience. Parents and caregivers shared verbal and written feedback, often reflecting on how the sessions impacted their children’s attitudes towards diversity and inclusion. 2. Schools and Organisations: Discussions were held with teachers and leaders before and after workshops to tailor our content to meet their needs. Follow-up conversations were used to assess the impact and identify opportunities for improvement. 3. Community Events: Feedback was gathered from event organisers and attendees to evaluate how well the sessions aligned with the community’s goals for cultural awareness and anti-racism education. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback: Enhanced session content to include specific cultural aspects requested by schools and families, such as focusing on particular regions or celebrations. Increased resources for sensory engagement, including additional tactile and auditory tools, to improve learning experiences for children with varying needs. Adjusted session delivery methods to better suit the needs of different age groups and learning environments. Developed follow-up resources for educators and families, providing them with tools to continue discussions on anti-racism and cultural understanding at home or in the classroom. Our consultation process ensures that Tiny Travels remains responsive to the needs of the community, enabling us to deliver meaningful and impactful experiences.
