During the year, the CIC delivered over 180 free therapy sessions to individuals who were unable to afford private mental health support. Funding of £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund enabled us to provide therapy for people on long waiting lists, enhance our website and SEO to reach more local residents, and cover essential operating costs such as travel. These activities directly benefited people experiencing mental health challenges across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, helping to improve wellbeing and access to timely support.
During the financial year, Mental Health Wellbeing Foundation CIC worked with several key partners including ReturnMK, Active Communities Network, and the Hope Centre, with funding support from the National Lottery Community Fund. Together, these partnerships enabled us to deliver over 180 free therapy sessions for individuals unable to access paid mental health support. The collaboration with ReturnMK strengthened our community outreach and local engagement, while Active Communities Network and the Hope Centre helped us reach vulnerable individuals facing homelessness, hardship, or social isolation across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
