1 Statutory information
Dan Shepherd Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 13162764. The registered office is 12 Chart Way, , Reigate, Surrey, RH2 0NZ, England.
2 Directors' advances, credit and guarantees
During the year, the company provided advances and credit to its directors as follows: Director D Shepherd The opening balance of the loan at the start of the year was £9,756.50, increasing to £28,000 at the year end. Interest has been charged on this loan in line with the HMRC official average rate of 2.25%, and the interest charged has been included within the accounts. As the balance is not expected to be repaid within nine months and one day of the end of the accounting period, a charge under section 455 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 has been applied. Director L Talmey The opening balance of the loan was £9,756.50, reducing to £9,509.66 at the year end. As the loan balance remained below £10,000 throughout the year, no interest was charged and no section 455 charge has been applied. Both loans are unsecured, interest-bearing where applicable, and are repayable on demand.
3 Average number of employees
During the year the average number of employees was 1 (2024: 1).

For the year ending 31 January 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime. The accounts have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.
