During this reporting period the organisation focused on laying the foundations for its future community activities. While no public-facing projects were delivered and no income or expenditure was recorded, we used this time to prepare a change in the company objects and update our Articles of Association to better reflect our mission. We also began the process of recruiting two new Directors (appointed after this period) and planning for the stewardship of Allens Community Garden, with the aim of creating a new community garden on the site. These steps were undertaken to strengthen the organisation and position it to deliver meaningful benefit to the community in the following financial year, when active projects and income generation began.
Our stakeholders included Growing Communities, volunteers at Allens Community Garden, Allens Gardens Residents Association, Stamford Hill Unites, Compost Mentis and Sandford Court Allotments. During the planning period we engaged with these stakeholders through discussions and informal consultations to help shape our future activities. Their input has informed our plans for the stewardship of Allens Community Garden and the wider development of the organisation. They will continue to be key partners in guiding and supporting our work.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
