In this financial year, Yeovil Skate Inclusive has benefitted the local and surrounding communities in the following ways: *Providing a safe and inclusive environment for all ages and abilities to learn to skate, by offering regular sessions for families, adults and people with SEND. *Facilitating training to volunteers to assist attendees, safely run events and demonstrate rollerskating to beginners. *Providing safety equipment and sessions free of charge to financially challenged families. *Hosting cross-community social events with the rollerskating community across the south west.
Stakeholder consultations have taken place in the form of feedback requests, polls and suggestions implemented via our website contact page. Throughout the year, we have ensured all stakeholders are polled on what session availability and location is most suitable for them, to ensure we are meeting the needs of the community to the best of our abilities.
