At Sonder Arts CIC, our mission is to engage, inspire, and empower the residents of Thanet, by delivering high-quality, aesthetic community art projects that foster creativity, unity, and social cohesion, bringing positive change within our communities and society at large. With kindness, accessibility and inclusivity as our guiding principles, we strive to build a community where creativity flourishes and connections are forged, where everyone feels valued and supported on their artistic journey, recognising the inherent uniqueness and creativity within every individual. We believe public design can be re-examined through an artistic lens, injected with fun and creativity and enjoyed by all. We also believe in the universal right to participate in public art projects, and have a collective understanding that communities can be transformed through their power. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest any profit to facilitate free art workshops for underserved communities in Thanet, ensuring that everyone has the chance to participate in and benefit from the arts.
