	In approving these financial statements as directors of the company we hereby confirm the following:

	For the year in question the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

	The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 28 February 2025 in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

	The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records, and for the preparation of accounts.

	These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies

	All the members have consented to the preparation of an abridged Statement of Financial Position for the year ended 28 February 2025 in accordance with Section 444 (2A) of the Companies Act 2006

	In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Income Statement has not been delivered

1.	SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES

1a.	Statement of compliance

	N&L Associates Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England.

	Registered office:
	74 St Georges Road, Bolton, Lancashire, BL1 2DD

1b.	Basis of accounting

	These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A of Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
	The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The presentation currency is £ sterling.


1c.	Fixed asset investments

	Interests in subsidiaries are initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at cost less any accumulated impairment losses. The investments are assessed for impairment at each reporting date and any impairment losses or reversals of impairment losses are recognised immediately in profit or loss.


1d.	Consolidation

	The company is a parent company subject to the small companies regime. The company and its subsidiary comprise a small group. The company is therefore not required to and has chosen not to prepare group accounts.
