Company activities and impact

During the year ending 31 December 2024, The Association of Worship & Venue Technicians CIC has worked to establish a national training and certification framework for volunteer and community-based technicians serving Houses of Worship and amateur arts venues. The organisation has helped improve safety, professionalism and inclusivity by promoting better technical standards in areas such as sound, lighting, projection and broadcasting. It has also engaged with churches, venues and industry partners to identify skills needs and to develop affordable training routes that make professional knowledge accessible to volunteers, thereby supporting community participation in the arts and worship.
