Laser Labs Games has developed and published a mobile version of the app Space Time Quest, Pocket Black Hole, Stretch and Squash and Chirp on Apple App Store, Google Play and Itch.io for mobile and PC. An early-access version of Black Hole Master has been made available on Itch.io. The apps can be used by university scientists and school teachers as something the students can ‘take home’ after a science class, science fair or similar event related to gravity, and the recent, very prominent, discovery of gravitational waves. Our dedicated web page laserlabs.org to advertises the apps and to provide additional materials such as flyers.
We have engaged with several experts in outreach in public engagement, in particular the public engagement group of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, the committee for public engagement in the University of Birmingham, The ARC Centre of Excellence for gravitational wave discovery, and the Outreach officer in the School of Physics and Astronomy.
