Directors' report period ended 31 January 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2025

Principal activities of the company

January to August 2024 During this period, we focused on establishing our organisation’s foundation. This included appointing directors, setting up our bank account, and preparing the necessary structure to secure funding. Alongside these administrative steps, we worked on building strong relationships with local groups and members of the local council. We continued maintaining the allotment project at Brunswick Recreational Club and launched Thursday Thoughts, a weekly support group aimed at fostering connection and wellbeing. Throughout the year, we actively participated in veterans’ events, providing support through our Community Support Dogs (therapy dogs). We also introduced Wandering Wednesdays, a wellbeing walk open to everyone in the community. Once our bank account was established, we began hosting fundraising events, including a Halloween party and a Christmas celebration, to support our ongoing community initiatives.
