Walk and Talk EA is a community initiative that provides free, supportive spaces for men to connect, open up, and improve their wellbeing. Through regular walk-and- talk sessions, workshops, and community events, the group encourages men to step away from isolation, build new friendships, and talk openly about the chal- lenges they face in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. The impact on men has been significant. Many who attend find it easier to share their thoughts while walking side by side, rather than in more formal settings. This simple approach has helped men who might otherwise remain silent about their struggles to reduce feelings of loneliness, improve their confidence, and strengthen their mental health. Over time, the group has helped break down the stigma sur- rounding men’s mental health by showing that it’s okay to talk and that support is always available. We genuinely have lost count of the amount of men who have said if it wasn’t for the support from walk and talk ea they wouldn’t be here today.
