Deferred Consideration: The company has recognised a liability for deferred consideration in connection with the acquisition of Fraser Brookes Ltd. The deferred consideration is payable in quarterly installments of £37,500 over 5 years and is due as follows: Amounts due within one year: £150,000 Amounts due after more than one year: £346,331 The deferred consideration represents the fair value of the payments to be made for the acquisition.

Transactions with related parties
During the year, the company had an intercompany loan with Fraser Brookes Ltd. The loan was made to facilitate operational requirements and was interest-free. The balance of the loan as of the year-end is £597,365 (2024 £340,571), which is recorded under creditors falling due after more than one year.
