CIC Annual Report Company Name: HART HKERS FC CIC Company Number: 15411006 Financial Year End: 31 January 2025 1. What activities did your CIC undertake to benefit the community during the year? During the year, HART HKERS FC CIC organised regular football training sessions, friendly matches, and community events to support the well-being and integration of people from Hong Kong who have recently settled in the UK. Our activities aimed to provide a sense of belonging, promote physical health, and build mutual support among Hongkongers living in the UK. We held weekly training sessions and organised multiple friendly matches and gatherings, which have helped establish strong social connections and community spirit among participants. 2. How did your activities help the community? Our programmes created a welcoming environment where people from Hong Kong could connect, engage in physical activity, and adapt to life in the UK more smoothly. Through regular football sessions and team events, participants have benefited from improved physical health, reduced social isolation, and enhanced mental well-being. We have also helped new arrivals build networks and integrate into their local communities through sport. 3. How did you consult with your community about your activities? We continuously engaged with our members through WhatsApp groups, social media, and in-person feedback during training and matches. Key decisionssuch as venue bookings, event formats, and use of funds were made collectively with the input of our members and volunteers. 4. How did you use your surplus/profit? The surplus of £616 (after tax) was entirely reinvested into community activities. This included covering costs for training equipment, jerseys, pitch bookings, and event expenses. No dividends were paid, and no personal gain was made100% of funds were used to further our community objectives. 5. Directors Remuneration and Dividends Did any directors receive remuneration? No Were any dividends paid to shareholders? No 6. Future Plans We plan to expand our outreach to more Hongkongers across different regions of the UK, including organising more community football matches, training sessions, and social events. We are also exploring collaboration opportunities with other local organisations that support Hong Kong migrants, to strengthen community building and social inclusion through sport.
