Company activities and impact

The company has organised several activities for our community during the financial year 2024 - 2025 which has benefitted the community in the following ways: - Reduced isolation through regular welfare checks - phone calls and visits and social activities. - Social activities included : coach trips, limes (impromptu social gatherings for example quiz nights, bingo, party), - In conjunction with the Barbados High Commission a mini expo was organised showcasing Barbados products and produce, - A church service was held to celebrate the year and to commemorate and those we've lost. - A Gala Ball to celebrate 58 years of Barbados' independence.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company holds quarterly members meetings. - Several stakeholders and directors gather twice weekly informally and socially at a local community centre. - The majority of stake holders live within a three mile radius of the community centre, - The company also has a WhatsApp group where between our quarterly meetings incoming news updates and information is shared and views aired and discussed. - Recommendations made during any online exchange is recorded and discussed at our quarterly members meeting,
