1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

1a. Basis Of Accounting

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006 .

1b. Depreciation
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives.

Fixed asset investments are shown at cost less amounts written off.

Provisions are made for permanent fluctuations in value.

During the year, the company received dividends and funds from, and had payments made on its behalf by this subsidiary. At the balance sheet date, £2,898,863 (2024 - £2,389,377) was owing to Arnfield Care Limited, and this amount is disclosed in note 8 to the accounts. The company owns a property which is occupied rent free by Arnfield Care Limited.
