Balance sheet statements

Company activities and impact

Annual Highlights Mentorship Programs 6-Month Free Mentoring Program: Successfully ran another edition with participation from mentors and mentees across the media and advertising industry, continuing to cultivating personal and professional growth. Speed Mentoring Event: Held a dedicated speed mentoring session for members, featuring senior professionals from the MEFA Leaders Network. Events MEFA Coffee Mornings: Launched in January, this monthly series features interviews with industry experts on vital topics such as personal branding, mental health, neurodiversity, and South Asian Heritage Month. MEFA Spring Networking Social: Organised in collaboration with The 7Stars, bringing together professionals across the industry to connect and share experiences. Women in Leadership Breakfast: Delivered in partnership with Open Media, providing a safe and empowering space for women of colour in the industry to network and learn. Industry Panels: MEFA representatives were invited to speak at numerous industry panels, sharing expertise and driving conversations around diversity and inclusion. Advertising Week Europe 2025: Hosted a panel and a networking session, extending MEFA’s presence and impact across the broader industry. Sponsor Engagement: Held two MEFA Sponsor Board meetings to align on goals, share progress, and strengthen relationships with supporters. Forums and Discussions Discussion Forums: Hosted multiple forums throughout the year to tackle ongoing challenges and insights related to race, inclusion, and equity in the workplace. Awards and Recognition Diversity & Inclusion Awards: Held the second D&I Awards in association with Campaign, receiving over 135 entries and celebrating outstanding efforts in advancing inclusion across the media and advertising landscape. Networks and Research MEFA Founders and Leaders Networks: Continued growth and engagement through dedicated networks designed to connect and empower senior leaders within the industry. Well-being Council and Accountability Group: Formed these internal working groups to address mental health, well-being, and ensure MEFA remains transparent, inclusive, and accountable in its mission. Research Initiatives: Launched a study to explore and improve the lived experiences of Black, Muslim, and Sikh women in the media and advertising industries. Partnering with the Advertising Association to develop the next action plan specifically addressing the advancement of Asian talent within the industry. Begin working on Wave 2 of the MEFA Measures Survey, a mandatory member survey designed to identify lived experiences and measure the ongoing impact and attitudes around DEI efforts within the industry.
