Company activities and impact

During our first year of operation, Durose Studios CIC delivered creative and artistic opportunities for the local community in Lytham St Annes and the wider Lancashire area. Key activities included: - Running over 50 free and low-cost art workshops (painting, ceramics, digital design) with over 200 participants, many of whom were young people, older adults, or individuals from low-income households. - Providing affordable studio space to emerging artists to support their development and showcase their work. - Partnering with 10 local organisations to deliver school holiday creative clubs, boosting confidence and creative skills among pupils. - Hosting 5 community exhibitions where local residents could display their work and invite family, friends, and the wider community.

Consultation with stakeholders

- Obtained regular feedback from workshop participants via questionnaires and informal discussion groups. - Engaged with local organisations, community groups, and the local council to identify priority themes (such as youth engagement and wellbeing). - Worked closely with partner artists and volunteers to shape the content and accessibility of workshops.

Directors' remuneration
