Keeping People Well CIC benefits the local community by promoting, educating, and supporting physical and mental health for young people, adults, and organisations. The CIC delivers this through inclusive social fitness events and sessions, wellbeing workshops, and tailored training programmes. These activities are designed to improve confidence, reduce social isolation, encourage healthier lifestyles, and enhance workplace wellbeing, ensuring that individuals and groups can access sustainable support for their overall health.
We consulted with attendees including local residents, young people, community groups, and organisations to ensure our activities meet genuine community needs. Feedback highlighted a lack of affordable and accessible health and wellbeing opportunities. Many people expressed a desire for more opportunities to build confidence, develop social skills, and manage stress alongside study, work, and life commitments. This led us to design fitness and wellbeing sessions tailored to these needs. Local employers raised concerns about staff stress and mental health, which shaped our workplace wellbeing workshops and training. Health and education professionals also identified a gap in preventative services, reinforcing the importance of early intervention through community-based programmes. All of our sessions are delivered by qualified professionals, ensuring quality, consistency, and a high standard of care. As a result, Keeping People Well CIC has developed inclusive, affordable, and practical activities that directly respond to stakeholder input and strengthen both physical and mental health across the community.
