The company Sports and Life Skills CIC have had a great impact on the local community by the following ways: Residents have been able to send their kids to attend our community sessions We have delivered multi sports programmes during half terms We have delivered homework club sessions regularly for local residents to send their kids to get help to complete their homework. We have delivered parents and adults fun days for local residents We have given local residents voluntary work, paid work and accredited coaching qualifica-tions. We have trained up young local kids with accredited qualifications We have built up good links and partnerships between parents, kids and local authorities such as the local police services and community centre. All above was done for FREE, we no charge to any participant or parent.

Consultation with stakeholders

Sports and Life Skills CIC stakeholders are their members e.g. the participants who take part of the programme and their parents as well as the board of directors. We sent up the company as parents said there was nothing for their kids to do locally, our programme is catered to what our stakeholders would like. For example, half term pro-grammes, regular community sessions and homework club for the kids. We have adjusted our times of sessions to cater to their needs. We ask for feedback and ideas of what life skills to deliver and what sports they would like us to deliver for their kids. As a board we, have regular board meetings to discuss new ideas and reflect on previous sessions and programmes.
