During 2024/25 The Outdoor Club CIC has delivered over 70 sessions to the local community, including baby, toddler, child, adult and family sessions linked to the aims of the CIC. We have also continued to deliver sessions for the local infant and junior school to support students to access their green spaces. These sessions have focused on connecting individuals with the outdoors and each other. The sessions have included learning about local flora and fauna, using natural materials to create crafts, and keepsakes. The sessions have included outdoor stay and play groups, wellbeing sessions for new parents and for families with young children, holiday sessions that focus on Forest School, as well as pop up outdoor sessions that focus on community connection, adult wellbeing sessions and sessions that support other local organisations e.g a Saturday morning pop up cuppa club to coincide with the nature reserve’s volunteer morning.
Our key stakeholders are families, individuals, children and adults in our local community (mainly within the NN6 area of Northamptonshire). We gain feedback from our stakeholders by asking for feedback during sessions and at intervals throughout the year. The feedback normally takes the form of a written form. There is the option for the feedback to be anonymous. We also seek verbal feedback whilst at sessions and talk to the participants directly. We have sought feedback from our directors also. We ask individuals to identify what they have enjoyed and what they would like to see more of. The overwhelming majority of feedback forms indicate that the families value the sessions, that they are beneficial to their family’s mental and physically wellbeing. Individuals continue to indicated that sessions need to remain affordable for all, with free tickets available for those that need it. We have been successful in receiving local grants to help keep sessions affordable. We have secured two grants that will enable us to keep sessions affordable for the next year.
Directors have been paid for their services of running sessions Emma Wiid - £4,600.00 Other directors: “no remuneration was received”
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
