Provided training and upskilling opportunities for carers, preparing them for roles in the health care sector. (100 recruits) Education Delivered a range of training programmes designed to enhance skills and employability. (500 people) Ran family and children’s cooking classes to encourage healthy eating and strengthen family bonds with over 200 families. Elderly Social Inclusion Organised weekly social gatherings to over 200 older adults to reduce isolation and improve quality of life. Community Engagement Operated a community food bank, supporting over 150 clients. Distributed more than 800 emergency food parcels to vulnerable families in need. Events and Cultural Activities Hosted cultural programmes and community celebrations to promote cohesion, inclusion, and unity among residents. Over 500 people participated.
The variety of services we provide is focussed on two way conversations and even though informal we do tailor the services to the communities needs from the feedback of our hirers and the initiatives we have delivered. Having served over 500+ people and families over the year we are very aware of the critical needs of the recipients and planned more initiatives in the future. We have applied for grants and awaiting feedback.
