For the year ended 31 December 2024 the Company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006.

Members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the profit and loss account in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

1.	General information

Federal Resistance Ltd ("the company") is a private company limited by shares and is registered and incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Building 81 Bays 1 and 2, First Avenue, The Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, West Midlands, DY6 7FQ.
The company has not traded during the year and the directors do not expect the company to trade in the forthcoming year.

2.Accounting policies

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland' and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

4.	Controlling party

The company is controlled by MTI Welding Technologies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. The smallest group undertaking in which the results are consolidated is that headed by MTI Welding Technologies Limited, Registered at Building 81, Bays 1 and 2, First Avenue. The Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, West Midlands, DY6 7FJ.
The Ultimate parent undertaking is Manufacturing Technology Inc, a company registered in the United States of America.
