    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents the total invoice value, excluding VAT, of fees earned during the year and derived from the provision of services falling within the company's ordinary activities. Turnover included within the accounts is 100% derived from the company's sponsors and recognized over the sponsorship agreement period it relates to.

Company activities and impact

Race Equality Matters CIC has benefitted the community in many ways including using their network to amplify voices of ethnically diverse employees and network leaders in organizations enabling peer support and sharing of best practice. REM has helped by mobilising organisations and communities, providing practical tools and frameworks, building networks of changemakers, and raising awareness and capacity for tackling race inequality - particularly in the workplace. Its programmes like Race Equality Week, the Race Equality Network, and practical conversation tools are concrete ways they engage.
