Balance sheet statements

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The company’s turnover comprises income received from individuals participating in community-based retreats designed to bring families together, as well as voluntary donations that support the delivery of these activities. All income is applied in furtherance of the company’s social objectives. The company recognises turnover on receipt, in line with the receipts and payments basis of accounting, and ensures that funds are used transparently and in accordance with its community purpose.

Jerusalem Arise Global Awakening CIC (JAGA) serves as a vital community anchor, strengthening social ties and fostering inclusion through its grassroots support initiatives. By organising visits to community members during significant life events, such as bereavement or the birth of a child. JAGA enables even those with limited financial means to participate through modest, affordable contributions toward food and transportation. This ensures that economic hardship does not prevent anyone from offering or receiving communal support. These efforts are especially meaningful for individuals and families experiencing loneliness or social isolation. Without reliance on external funding, JAGA has cultivated spaces where people can come together away from daily pressures, share experiences, and engage in meaningful dialogue about challenges and solutions. In doing so, the organisation has not only deepened relational bonds but also nurtured a sustainable culture of mutual care and solidarity. By centering empathy, shared responsibility, and relational support, the organisation empowers vulnerable individuals and families, building community resilience from the ground up.
