The company's activities has provided numerous benefits to young people and adults in the Liverpool City Region, with a particular focus on those from deprived areas and marginalised communities. Through the diverse line up of unique events including in-house events, venue hires and workshops that provide benefit to (1) those who participate (or seek to participate) in arts and culture-related activities, (2) aspiring students seeking to gain new skills (both creative and vocational) within the creative sector, and (3) community members seeking to encourage, promote and actively participate in positive community growth and engagement. QUARRY SOUND Liverpool C.I.C (known to the public as QUARRY) is a community-focused music venue/creative arts centre that provides a vital creative hub for musicians, artists and other aspiring creatives in the local community. By hosting (and accommodating) diverse and tailored creative activities for all-ages at our refurbished railway arch site, we've benefited a wide-ranging demographic and established new creative opportunities within the area and the wider Liverpool City Region.
The company's stakeholders include our staff, promoters, event organisers contractors and customers.. QUARRY being a community-focused music venue and creative art centre has developed its business model around its personal experience in working in the music and creative industry in the Liverpool and north west region and from working alongside other creatives since and prior to its inception. We work continuously with our staff, promoters and event organisers to better understand and keep evolving to fit their needs. This requires constant, transparent conversations of both parties' expectations and an openness to change. For our artists and promoters, our team checks in on them before, during and after a show and discuss whether their expectations were met and if not, whether anything else can be provided better next time. So far we have had really good feedback, complimenting us on our professionalism, our focus on safety and the attention to detail and level of care we provide to our artists and clients. We share across our social media platforms and website feedback forms so that we can hear from the wider Liverpool area and better engage with the creative community as whole.
